At Toronto Grace Health Centre employees are our most important resource. We believe that investing in the growth and development of staff is key to a positive employment and relationship experience. Professional and personal development is a shared responsibility between the employee and the hospital. We believe that providing opportunities for skill enhancement, career and personal development for our staff can only benefit our patients. We have a learning fund to facilitate the educational needs of our staff.
The Professional Development Fund is available to all full-time and part-time employees of the hospital. The fund criteria is individual skill improvement courses, conferences, seminars or workshops related to the employees’ professional/career development. Fees, up to a maximum of $400 per employee per fiscal year can be reimbursed.
The Tuition Fund is also available to all full-time and part-time employees of the hospital. Fees to a maximum of $2,500 per employee per fiscal year will be provided towards a university or college degree.
