Patients at the Toronto Grace are celebrating the Olympics in their own style.
Today (Monday, February 10th, 2014) an Olympic Kick-off ceremony was held with the passing of the Olympic torch. A patient representative from each floor passed the Olympic Torch and waved the Canadian flag in celebration. Patients and staff entered into the Olympic spirit. The ceremony finished off with the torchbearers and friends sharing an Olympic cake and a much needed beverage.
The patients have trained long and hard to compete in the following games in the coming week:
Tuesday, February 11 – Olympic ring toss
Wednesday, February 12 – Hockey shoot out
Friday, February 14 – Curling
Some days are simply made for playing and having fun!
