Winter 2017

“When you wish upon a star…”

At The Salvation Army Toronto Grace Health Centre, our wish is to meet the needs of all our patients no matter what their situation in life. Needs vary but for some, they are the most basic: a toothbrush, underwear, socks, pajamas, shoes, etc. At this special time of year we wish to make the holiday season a little brighter, a little happier.

We have a lovely tradition at The Grace. We place a tree in our lobby in the Weston Family Welcome Centre for the enjoyment of our community. One and all are invited to place a star, the symbol of light, hope and peace, on our tree in memory or honour of someone. This can be accomplished by making a gift of any size to our ‘Tree of Memories’. Each star bears the name of the individual for whom the gift is given. All funds raised go directly to benefit our patients.

So as we approach the giving season, we invite you to Be a Star and Buy a Star!”

We thank you and wish you and yours the best of the season.
