Welcome to Toronto Grace Health Centre!
At the Grace, students are an essential part of the care team. Our staff welcomes and provides mentoring and preceptorship to students from all health related disciplines.
The Grace has educational agreements with colleges and universities in Toronto and the GTA. At present, the Grace provides placement for nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, pharmacy, dietary, spiritual care, information technology and expressive arts students in undergraduate and graduate programs. Our professional practice leaders hold clinical cross appointments with the University of Toronto in the areas of nursing and physiotherapy. The focus of all clinical placements is in Palliative Care, Complex Continuing Care or Slow-Paced Rehabilitation.
Practical placements are an important part of the educational process. Placements at the Grace are a wonderful opportunity to put theory into practice, enhance knowledge and psychosocial skills. We strive to create clinical excellence and encourage a learning environment. When students come the Grace to learn our staff tell us that they in turn teach us as well.
