In response to a new
strain of swine flu that has appeared in To protect Toronto Grace patients, visitors, volunteers, staff and students please read and comply with the following information. Do
not enter the hospital if you have the following symptoms or history: ·
high fever, ·
headache, ·
eye pain, ·
shortness of breath ·
extreme fatigue, ·
diarrhea and vomiting ·
have visited ·
have been in contact with someone who has been in Patients and visitors: Do not visit Toronto Grace until you have been symptom-free for at least 48 hours (2 days). Staff, students and volunteers: If you are feeling unwell, contact
Occupational Health and Safety immediately. Proper Hygiene Everyone is reminded that
proper hand hygiene, the cough etiquette and the ‘sneeze-in-your-sleeve” are
the best ways to prevent the spread of infection. Wash your hands thoroughly and frequently while in the hospital. Hand hygiene stations can be found at all entrances and throughout all hospital sites. For further details and information please refer to the
