Volunteers play an important role at the Grace and are valued members of the health care team.  Working alongside staff, volunteers help to fulfill our mission and support a high quality of life for our complex continuing care, post acute care rehabilitation and palliative care patients.

As a volunteer at Toronto Grace Health Centre, you can make a difference by visiting with patients, assisting at mealtimes or helping with running recreational activities. You can support staff with administrative tasks or share your talents and skills by participating in special projects and leadership activities.

Volunteers assist in numerous areas throughout the hospital including Patient Care Units, Therapeutic Recreation Programs, Rehabilitation, Administration, Infection Control, Dietetic Services, Pharmacy, Chapel Services (portering & piano), Arts at the Grace (music program), Pet Therapy and a variety of special projects and events. The availability of placement options will vary depending on our current needs.
