Patricia Skol is an accomplished nursing leader with over two decades of progressive experience in healthcare management, clinical operations, and professional practice. As Vice President of Clinical Programs and Chief Nursing Executive at Toronto Grace Health Centre, Patricia provides strategic leadership for clinical services, quality improvement, patient experience, and nursing excellence.
Since joining Toronto Grace Health Centre, Patricia has advanced through several leadership roles, including Chief Nursing Executive and Director of Quality, Patient Experience & Professional Practice, and earlier, Patient Care Manager. Her leadership has been instrumental in enhancing care delivery models, fostering interprofessional collaboration, and advancing quality and safety initiatives across the organization.
Prior to her current role, Patricia held management positions at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and St. Joseph’s Health Centre, where she led patient care operations and supported staff development in complex care environments. Earlier in her career at Bridgepoint Active Healthcare (now part of Sinai Health System), she served in several key roles, including Patient Care Manager, Nurse Educator, and Nurse Clinician, focusing on rehabilitation, gerontology, and chronic disease management.
She holds a Master of Nursing (MN) degree from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN). Patricia is a Certified Gerontological Nurse [GNC(C)] through the Canadian Nurses Association and maintains active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario (RNAO).
