Booth University College offers a fully online, high quality Personal Care Worker certificate program that is endorsed by the Canadian Support Worker Association (CANSWA) and the Ontario Personal Support Worker Association (OPSWA). The Booth UC PSW Certificate is also recognized by the Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority of Ontario for professional registration in this province.
The PSW Certificate program includes a 320 hour practicum in a local health care facility near to the student’s location and is guided throughout by a team of qualified health care profession instructors. The Booth UC PSW program approaches health care practice holistically, with students learning to care for another person’s body, mind, and spirit.
Program Features: Booth UC’s School for Continuing Studies is committed to providing an excellent education experience in a flexible online environment, that is accessible wherever you are located, and is supported by experienced instructors who engage, guide, and give feedback on your learning progress.
Length: 14 courses, offered sequentially in 2-6 week blocks
Duration: 1.5 years (part-time)
