At Toronto Grace Health Centre, employees are our most important resource. We believe that investing in the growth and development of staff is key to a positive employment and relationship experience. Professional and personal development are shared responsibilities between the employee and the hospital. We believe that providing opportunities for skill enhancement, career and personal development for our staff can only benefit our patients. We have a learning fund to facilitate the educational needs of our staff.
The Professional Development Fund is available to all full-time and part-time employees of the hospital. The fund criteria is individual skill improvement courses, conferences, seminars or workshops related to the employees’ professional/career development. Fees, up to a maximum of $400 per employee per fiscal year can be reimbursed.
The Tuition Fund is also available to all full-time and part-time employees of the hospital. Fees to a maximum of $2,500 per employee per fiscal year will be provided towards a university or college degree.
