Toronto Grace Outpatient Pharmacy

The Salvation Army Toronto Grace Health Centre is pleased to announce the opening of the Toronto Grace Outpatient Pharmacy (TGOP), located on the main floor of the Toronto Grace Health Centre at 650 Church Street (corner of Bloor and Church Streets).  Accessible via the TTC.

This new outpatient service will provide pharmacy services to The Salvation Army Toronto Harbour Light Ministries Integrated Transitional Services, hospital outpatients (Rheumatology, Chiropody, Geriatric Clinics), discharged patients from inpatient programs, and hospital employees.

More than Counting Pills

At the TGOP, we strive to do more than merely count your pills and slap a label on your medication vial.  Pharmacists have evolved in their roles from dispensers to medication therapy specialists, providing expertise on medication therapy management to patients and other members of the interprofessional team.  As front-line healthcare professionals, pharmacists work directly with patients, their families and caregivers, doctors, nurses, and allied health team members to ensure that your medications are right for you.

The Salvation Army Toronto Grace Health Centre provides exceptional and compassionate care for all.  Our patients often have multiple medical conditions requiring specialized care and have needs that cannot be met elsewhere in the health care system.  The Toronto Grace Outpatient Pharmacy was built with the vision of providing seamless, compassionate care to our patients who need this the most.

The TGOP is independently owned by The Salvation Army, with 100% of profits going back to the hospital.

Additionally, the TGOP operates with a minimized environmental footprint. The pharmacy workflow is paperless, with faxes and prescriptions stored electronically using a secure, PHIPA-compliant software that is the most widely used in pharmacies across Canada.

We also offer a digital platform that allows you to securely transmit your prescription, refill your prescription, view your medication history, and speak to your pharmacist all from your smartphone!  Please speak to our pharmacist for more details.
