To remain current and effective, The Governing Council of The Salvation Army in Canada has decided to transition the operation and management of The Salvation Army Toronto Grace Health Centre to a separate, incorporated entity on April 1, 2019.
The new entity will retain the name “The Salvation Army Toronto Grace Health Centre” and will continue as a ministry of The Salvation Army. The Governing Council of The Salvation Army in Canada will be the sole member of this new corporation and members of The Governing Council will continue to serve on its board. This change was approved by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and the Toronto Central Local Health Integration Network.
Please note that this transition will have no impact on the Centre’s day-to-day operations, patients or staff. The hospital community can expect the same exceptional and compassionate care from The Salvation Army Toronto Grace Health Centre in the future.
