It is so heartwarming to see our patients on their road to achieving their healthcare goals.
Patricia, a recovering COVID-19 patient was admitted to our vent program from an acute care setting. With the collaborative efforts of our interprofessional health care team, and her hard work she is gaining back her independence. Patricia is now liberated completely from the mechanical vent and has had her trach removed.
She has now moved to our Post Acute Care Rehabilitation unit for the rest of her rehab journey. Toronto Grace wishes Patricia well as she continues with her rehab.
